120 colors?
I just watched this BMW M Youtube advertisement, which states (at about 45 seconds in) that as of March 2022 it will be possible to order the I4 in 120 different colors. Does anybody know more about this? Is it specific to the M50? Is it all countries?

they are bringing back some old Color’s for the 50th anniversary of the M division next year. They can be ordered on any M or M Sport model from early 2022. All likely to be very expensive paint options. Would be nice if they came up with some more info. I would say there has to be something more to it than just standard individual color orders, because thats not new or limited to msport cars is it? Maybe discounted from 5k to 1-2.5k and possible to order straight from the normal configurator?
Are the other 98 individual colors costing more than the Tanzanite or Aventura Red at $1500 or the same price? I not see any additional individual color options on the build sheet besides those 2 options?
The video is from the BMW M channel, which is worldwide. There seems to be an issue between the M division and BMW USA, as when I tried to subscribe to the M newsletter, the USA was NOT an allowed country, I ended up subscribing as a resident of Canada, and occasionally, there are articles that require an e-mail/web click to detect domain, and I can't get to those.
The price list published in October shows only a few of the "individual colors" on some cars (Aventurin Red, Tanzanite Blue and Frozen Portimão Blue on the i4, Brands Hatch Grey, Frozen Deep Green on some 8 series and M cars. I remember that a few months back, some M cars had a special multi-color stack at the end of the colors called "BMW individual" that opened up the M color visualizer, but when they re-did the configurator with the picture on the left and the choices on the right, it disappeared.
For the time being, it looks like the only place you can see the M Individual colors are in the M site: BMW Individual: The expression of personality (bmw-m.com), I don't know whether your dealer can add that into your order, but note that you're probably looking at $3000-$5,000 instead of $550 for the color. The YouTube video seems to suggest that they are working on adding this back to the M models and the i4 for the 30th anniversary of the M division next year, so I'm not sure how that will work if you already have an order in the books already configured at the time, at the very least I suspect you won't be able to change the order past a certain stage in the production schedule.

Not to mention the weeks/months to add to the wait.
