Debating about adding the 50th anniversary emblem to my build. Currently M50 Portimao blue with black vernasca with blue contrast stitching. Not really wild about the 50th anniversary emblem but have a fear of missing out. Would you add the 50th anniversary emblem due to FOMO or it adds to the resale value. Thought id create a poll

I am. I think it is unique, plays well with a few colors (especially Portimao blue, although I am getting mine on Mineral White) and if I feel it gets tired looking, it's a super simple swap to go back to the traditional designs.

It was a low risk add to the order, so kind of a easy decision in that regard. I think it works best on the mineral or standard white, but that's just me. I could see it on portimao blue or a black car, catching the respective colors but this is clearly preference and taste.

I specced it on San Remo Green and I think it looks nice with the blacked out bits and red calipers. Like others said previously - it’s easy to swap out if it doesn’t end up suiting my eye.

I agree. It goes really well with the mineral white. Im worried that the portimao blue might overwhelm the small blue accents. It is a low risk order but I feel like there isnt much left to add to my build except the esim and the carbon exterior package the way Im going...lol

I solved that by getting everything available 😄.

It wasn't available when I placed my order, but I would have specced it if I could. I'm not adding it now unless my order is significantly delayed.

Don’t think it will do jack to resale value, the emblem are already available at most dealerships and online stores, it will just be a dime a dozen down the road….

If they really want to make it special, they should have included a plaque on the dash or something, right now, it doesn’t even comes with steering wheel emblem…

But having said that… I did ticked the box 😂

I did. Seems different, somehow…! No accounting for my taste!

It was free to add here in Germany, so I did so. Happy about it, it adds a nice touch to the car.

I like the look of the 50th Emblem so yes I added it. unfortunately I might not get it, if my car isn't built in 2022.

Yeah, an X7 M50 in MW over Cognac . It had them at the PC yesterday that I saw up close…..looked great with them

Being an island doesnt help us at all. We only restarted ferry cruises to Greece a few weeks ago, after 20 years. We can now easily take our cars to Greece. Also, being right hand drive doesnt help our case too much either!
