Heard this recently as well. The adaptive suspension isn’t available and now neither are the red brake calipers. Seems insane that they are still charging the same (or close to the same) for basically nothing. If it wasn’t for the terrible 18” wheels on the base i4, I wouldn’t even consider the msport as an option. Definitely won’t be ordering until those options are returned.
rhe only option was red callipers after they removed blue! Are there no colours available now then ?

Yup, my build date was December 20, 2022 and my M Sport Package did NOT include either Red or Blue Calipers. But it did cost $3,200 . . . . go figure!

Baffles me. I get the wiring harness issues and chip supply issues but is there a shortage of paint in Deutschland!
Probably not a shortage of paint. The red and blue front Calipers as well as the rotors are different (Larger). I’d guess there are some supplier issues with these calipers or the rotors.

msport in US has never included red or blue calipers.
Actually, they did. Another fellow here in the Los Angeles area does have them on an almost identical i4 40 to mine. Here are two pictures of his eDrive40 with the red M Calipers.

What I meant was that the brakes were always available, but not included in the $3200 msport package.
Most interesting. I didn't know that. Very strange. The Monroney label on an M50 shows the Calipers as part of the MSport Package, although the MSport Package is (I think), a standard package on the M50. FWIW, it seems that one can do a DIY MBrake upgrade to an i4 40 using BMW P/N 34108854026. Although this Part Number is active in the BMW System, it presently does not allow a dealer to order it. Some on-line dealer websites show BMW P/N 34112450161 as an active number as "M Performance 18” red sport brake retrofit kit" but at $2,495.00 I'm not real anxious to experiment.

I'm not 100% sure about the M50, but at least on the edrive, the brakes were never part of the msport, but a separate addon.
