I have 20%. I’m going to take a video of it failing, then try to pop it. I’m not sure if my dealer is open tomorrow or not, due to the holiday.

I was able to pop it open with the air wedge, so it's charging now.

I’d be curious to hear what the dealer has to say about you popping it open yourself. Did it damage the port when you popped it? Can you close it back up normally or is it broken now? Seems like a good idea to have taken the video first as some extra insurance.

We’ll find out. I’ll argue that I had to charge it. I haven’t tried closing it yet, since I wanted to charge it first. I’ll try tomorrow and see.
