I may have missed it, but in what configuration did you order the car?Today I got a call from the dealer that the production of my e40 (for the moment) is planned during wk 21. Delivery during wk 23 🤩🤞
I ordered it 21/11.
The new date is 6 months earlier than the initial date.
A case of underpromise & overdeliver?
Thanks for your reference and nice configuration.Post #22 of this thread
Same here. Ordered in August, rough ETA received being April 2023 for an eDrive40.How did you configure your i4 edrive40? I ordered mine in August (laser lights, HUD, Park assistant plus) and still don't have a date. I don't understand how BMW processes the order queue, but I would really love to have a date after 6 months of waiting![]()
That rough delivery date is not binding. Please don't be surprised when you hear again from your dealer.Wait what? Ordered August, delivery 2023? Mine was ordered in BE in August and i got a rough delivery of 25/04/2022 ....
At some highways in the French speaking part of Belgium you might be better off with an SUV or offroader because of the potholes and poor road conditions, but further you´re rightIf you don't need the AWD, which I assume that you don't in Belgium, I think that the 40 will be more than enough. There are also the advantages of longer range and RWD. Up north, where I am at, the AWD makes a big difference a large part of the year.
Not that weird as Belgium population only counts for 1,5% of the world population. The 40% share for the US is indeed a bit more weird.whereas Belgium gets less than 2%
Luckily the fossil fueled 4 GC looks the same, helping not feeling too lonely. He said that those who already drive around in an i4, edrive40, or M50, in Belgium are very, very lucky people !!!
Driving for more or less a month in my i4 now, Barely seen other i4's on the road. Only 1 without Z-plates.Ordered in August 2021.
Edrive40 with plenty of options including some options potentially delaying delivery such as driving assist professional, Harman Kardon, head up, laser lights,...
The only item that has been adapted is removal of the touch functionality on the iDrive button.
Can confirm even the e40 is plenty fast.
