Yeah, I've been using the ENET adapter from the beginning... I use it on my iPad since I had a USB-C ethernet adapter I use for other purposes. Seamless.

Just wish Bimmercode could access VO coding...

No idea if ProTool can VO code...would be interesting to try but i have no idea what i would VO code to test it. This is all assuming i can get ProTool to work with this ENET cable since their bluetooth adapter was a big fail.

What would you want to VO code? Just curious.

I'd like to remove the option for decoding anti-dazzle (5AP) so I don't have to recode each update.

hmmm...I think i did this with bimmercode already and perhaps that's why my settings stayed after this last update. I will double check when I get the chance and report back :)

I don't think we can... it's in one of the ECUs Bimmercode can't read/write.

Ahh that makes. I thought for a second there were other options you could access if VO coding was possible.

I will have to see if I have that working the next time I drive at night.
So I've been able to drive twice at night since this post. More sunny hours down here in South Florida and I lead a boring life. 😂

I do have the LaMaster 1 variables coded. It seems to be doing what Bjorn shows. I definitely see the beam steering as I turn the wheel, and I do get the full up bright lights coming on, and those steer as well. It does seem to be very sensitive to cars in the distance. Lots of dead straight roads down here and even when there is a car pretty far in front of me down the road it keeps the main forward high beams "off". Then when the car turns off (far down the road) the full beams come on. So...it appears to be erring on the side of anti-dazzle. I have not been flashed once by oncoming driver's even the the blue "bright lights" icon is lit, and you can really see the beam shifting as cars pass. Curious to hear what others find.

I just took my second foray into bimmercode tonight. I coded the B & W audio settings previously. This time I was trying out USB video and laser light coding. The laser light coding threw a message saying something was wrong after it got done, but restarting the car cleared that. I assume that means I'm OK? Headlights still work, so...I guess.

Playing video is another matter. One video wouldn't play at all and one was using a foreign language audio track. Any idea on video compatibility or if there is a way to get some limited options like turning off subtitles, changing audio track, etc? I could recode some of my videos for sure, but I'd like to know what's most compatible. Anyone with experience, I'd like to hear what has worked well.

Yes, the same happens when I code the lights and all is fine after I restart. Having had it for a while, it’s still a bit mesmerizing watching the lights adapt all over the place. And I’ve still never had anyone flash me to say they are being blinded.

Same here! And I find it interesting that after the latest software update, I didn't have to re-code this...

Depends on which ECUs get updated with the software update. You may have to recode after future updates.

Do you need to turn on the high beams for it to work, or does it do adaptation when the lights are on auto? I think I'll be night driving for the first time tonight.

Put it on Auto and then push the lower button on the left stalk to put it in auto-high beam. If you manually turn on the high beams it will not activate anti-dazzle.

Never had anyone flash me either.

I tried to code the lights tonight and followed the instructions on page 1 and it said everything coded successful but then i got fault codes for daytime lamps and turn signals even though they appeared to be working fine. In any case i restored and the faults went away. I'll have to try it again and see if i fatfingered something.

You'll get the faults when you code, but they'll go away after Bimmercode resets and you turn the car off and on.

Recoded this afternoon and noticed all the settings were the new coding except 1. I changed that one and everything worked no faults.

Hi. I have used bimmercode to change a few of the basic settings and it was quite easy.

Has anyone been able to set the easy access seating setup? I recall once when. I got into the car, the seat did more forward once I closed the door... But, I have not been able to get that to happen again. 🤔. I did see a YouTube clip where someone programmed it on an older bmw using bimmercode, though.
