I use Carly for Android. I guess they will eventually add the i4.I watched a YT video last night where a guy used Bimmercode to do some minor coding on his M4comp. He was able to code his HK sound with the Bowers & Wilkerson settings to get a lot better sound. He also played around with the ambient lighting to add more options. I can see myself doing this down the road
Tell us more 😊The i4 can be coded under the "4-series/M4" category on bimmercode. I did some coding today.

What sort of options can you change with the software? I'm aware of the software but never really understood what kind of things people change with the code - I'm a techy so this is something I would love to "play" with when my car arrivesWhat do you want to know?![]()
Please post some screenshots of all the available changes for the i4 🙏The i4 can be coded under the "4-series/M4" category on bimmercode. I did some coding today.
Thanks! Looks very promising! Could you try to active "video via USB" and see if you are able to playback video files on idrive8? Once activated, folders on the USB stick should be visible when clicking on "search". Thats how it worked on idrive7
No, the diagnostics port is located in the footroom for the driver.Noob question incoming:
Do you need to remove the steering wheel in order to acces that USB-C (-ish) port to do the bimmer coding?
