BMW Files Patent for Rolls Royce Privacy Suite Display

BMW has filed a patent for a more advanced version of the "privacy suite" for the Rolls Royce Extended Wheelbase Phantom. Maybe this is something that can be used in a 7-Series as well?

The privacy suite currently adds a glass barrier between the rear and the front that can switch from transparent to opaque. The new patent goes a step further and turns that glass into a digital display.

That's pretty baller. And also kind of obvious... amazing how some ideas are just so simple, but so good.

That would be a massive screen too.

With a screen like that I'd never want to leave my car haha. Very cool stuff, my guess is that this stays with Rolls-Royce and not the 7-Series.

I can see it in a long wheelbase version of the 7 Series.

Possibly but this seems something that would be a Rolls-Royce exclusive.
Just to put this in the appropriate section, now you can reprogram your BMW i4 to Rolls Royce. Well, not completely, but at least the sounds of the electric Rolls Royce Spectre. The turn signal alone is spectacular.
