Color preference is really subjective I know. But to me none of these colors look good.

I wonder if they will have more color options. Arctic Racing Blue on the 440i for example is way more aesthetically pleasing (to me at least). Why isn't that an option for the i4?

Are those the i4 photos? Just that if so it’s lost the little blue trims on the grill and side vents. It would be such a shame to not have those blue elements as they really help the front end especially.

Those photos are the image that pops up when you start looking at colors. It's from the American BMW website. I've been messing around with it all day haha.

I like the variety in color options offered. These are REAL colors, not just shades of gray, white and black.

My first car was green - green classic pearl effect
My second car was blue - graphite blue pearl effect
My third car was German Racing Silver - reflex silver metallic
My fourth car was blue - midnight blue metallic
My fifth and current car is green - great falls green metallic.

I’m leaning toward blue for my i4 M50. My son liked the frozen light copper paint on the i4 prototype so his vote is for the frozen portimao blue metallic, but depending on price I may go with the regular portimao blue metallic instead.

BMWUSA.com doesn’t let you play with colors on the i4 eDrive40, but I was able to see the colors available on it in Sweden. (BMW.se) Just blacks/silver/grays/whites. Ok with me since I want the Dravit Gray. Would consider a true red also but does not seem to be available at all.
Dravit grey is a color I really want to see in person on the i4. It looks so good on other BMWs, like the current G20 3 Series.

Actually , Frozen Light Copper is available via “Frozen Paint” from BMW Individual. I haven't picked my options yet, but when we can the BMW Geek at my shop tipped me off about it. This is my first post in this forum; hopefully my name is still remembered.//

Welcome to the forum @wnrussell! Which color are you thinking of getting for your i4?

I might have to take a drive to my BMW dealer to see if they have any Dravit Gray 3 series…
Here are some photos of a 4 series cabrio in Dravitgray on sunset light. Really intense contrast with sun light. Also with the m shadow trim and m shadow lights which go very well with this color.

I think i4 should have more color options...
Also it lacks a signature color (except if you think is frozen portimao).
I wouldn't mind for example a color from Aston Martin's DB-something palette or maybe this Tactical Green from this AUDI RS E-TRON GT

You can have practically any color you like in the Indivudual program. Your dealership will be able to inform you, no information available on the websites. It comes at a cost however, around 5000 to 6000 euro's I expect.

Just looked at the U.K. site and the blue parts seem to be on the sport 40 model but disappear on the m sport and 50m model. Actually points me towards the sport model if that’s the case.
I have the same question only much later asking it. Any updates anywhere on what models or options provide the blue accents on from grille and at back of car? (And I
assume the answer must be the same in all countries? )
