Build Week 13 Support Group

Alright, here we go. I've been quite hesitant to start this thread not to jinx it all. But now I can't keep myself away anymore.

I got build week 13 a while back and got it confirmed again yesterday. So I'm hopeful that it'll stay that way going forward. And it feels like it's geting close now, only four weeks to go.

Anyone else with build week 13?

We run a tight ship here at i4talk with first-come/first-served: this isn't some dealer allocation wait list with line jumping, hah!

Hello everyone! Just had my status move to “scheduled for production” and called BMW Genius to get my build week. Here’s to hoping that it sticks!

Here’s my timeline:
Order placed with dealer: September 24, 2022
Allocation received/status 111: February 15, 2023
Status 112: March 2, 2023

How is everyone finding out their status? Calling their dealer? Not sure we have the same resources for obtaining these updates in Canada...

You and I are pretty much in lock step for timing with 111 and 112 -- perhaps our cars will share a boat ride together!

Combination of the BWM USA website and phone number. Canada must have equivalents to that?
Once you get 111 then the dealer doesn't know anything more than you can learn on your own, until the vehicle has cleared the BMW VDC and is on a trailer to the dealer.

That is a possibility! Is yours headed to the east or west coast?

East Coast -- but I think all the cars are loaded on the same ships and first stop at East Coast ports before heading through the Panama Canal to the West Coast ports?

I think that’s true. It seems there might be multiple stops on the east coast, too, but that I’m less sure about.

Yes, definitely multiple stops along the East Coast -- and being in Massachusetts, I must be first, wuhoo!

Nope. Different ships go to Port H than the east coast. Most east coast ships stop at multiple ports on the east coast.

Just confirmed my edrive35 is scheduled for week 13. Genius initially told me week 11 but the rep today said the previous rep read the date wrong. Its listed in their system as 2023/3/13 which is week 13 March 2023.

Paid deposit at dealer Aug 26, 2002
Status 111 Feb 6, 2023
