Build week 50 Support Group

Same here, 47 to 50.

Add me in. Picked up a cancelled order on October 17th, with the promise of delivery in 3 months. Scheduled for production at the end of October for week 47, but went back to Order Received and now scheduled for week 50.

Something positive… I am back at scheduled for production. They had dropped me back to order received when I got kicked from 47.

I am also back to scheduled for production today.

Check your production week because often the status jumps to scheduled for production then back to order received the next day when the schedule changes.

Hello from Week 48! Went back to scheduled for production yesterday as well.

Nothing they say matters until there is a VIN.

Been scheduled for production off and on since April. Currently scheduled for production going into the 7th week.

Hang in there man. I saw my first M50 in the wild last week and it was Tanzanite. Looked really good. You'll be so happy once it does get here.

No idea. I refuse to call since it's been meaningless.

The projected week has moved so much I don't believe a thing they say. It's now been sitting at "scheduled for production" for going on seven weeks.

I'm waiting for either a VIN or to be kicked back to "order received".

I haven't called the genius since before I got my individual leather approved around the first weekend in Sept.

I didn't call the Genius much. They know who you are when you call from the same number and the reason you called. It comes up on the screen.

I'm frustrated that BMW doesn't talk about the reason for delays and generic "supply chain issues" is getting really old.

Agreed. I am not calling genius again if I can help it. I figured they were tracking the calls when on the second one, they started off by apologizing for the delay on my i4. Hahaha. And I got the same explanation, Ukraine war and supply issues. Which is very real, but it would be nice to get details cause if it is something trivial or an option I am open to switching, I would like to know. Oh well, what can you do.

I’m one of the many that got bumped from week 47 to 50. I feel like I should start off with “Hi, my name is Grant and it’s been 30 weeks since…”. We’ll, anyways, hoping my build week stays on 50. I’d like to get the car less than a year after initial order…

My eDrive40 is showing week 50 build , wonder how the Christmas holiday will impact production, fully expecting it to move to 2023 production.

No just a production number at this point, I fully expect my build date to change.

Hi everyone! Glad I found this support group on this forum. I'm a week 50 build as well. I guestimate that after the car is built, it'll be two weeks for a boat to be assigned, 20 days on the boat, and another 1 week from port to the dealer. Add in some wiggle room, and maybe I'll get the car in February?
