354 days later... Canadian delivery day!

And the day arrived, only had the chance to drive it for 15 minutes but more than impressed. Looking forward to get behind the wheel soon. Summary of timeline: Reserved - 13/Nov/2021 Production - 05/Sept/2022 Delivery - 01/Nov/2022 Very happy as you can tell 🤣

My car made it over to Canada on the Morning Lena on Oct 15th and CA advised that ETA in North Vancouver for delivery is Nov 22nd. Valet mode recall is also closed now

Man, every time I see a Brooklyn Grey, I regret just a tiny bit that I didn't get that color. The very first i4 I saw and the test drive demo M50 I tried were both Brooklyn Grey. I have a soft spot for it

I doubt there has been any movement on my m50 from Grand River BMW.... I've decided to get another vehicle to tide me over the winter as the 2 convertibles are put/being put away for the winter....

I hope to have it delivered tomorrow..... pics to follow....

When did you order? I ordered mine on October 3rd, and I haven't heard anything back. I cringe at the thought of waiting 6+ months, but even that seems like wishful thinking at this point :/

BMW Toronto was able to sell me an e40 for a November build date, but I refused because it cannot be optioned with ADAP :/

I pre-ordered Augusta 21, 2021. I was first m50 order at my dealership (Budds BMW Hamilton) I received an allocation and production number in August 2022 for a September build. Car went into production 2nd week of October 2022. I think things are starting to pick up, just depends on where allocations are distributed.

I am actually very curious why my order got filled so early since my dealership told me mine and another guys i4s were the first deliveries they have gotten; I don't think I got pushed up due to cancellations. I am going to talk to my SA tomorrow to see if it's anything he did different as there seems to be no rhyme of reason for when you order and when it gets scheduled for production.

Just out of curiosity how did you get updates for when your car went into production, etc.? I really doubt my sales person is on top of it like yours seems to have been. I ordered through Budd's BMW in Oakville by the way.

Congratulations! That is incredibly lucky. Do you mind sharing the name/location of your dealership? I do wonder if your car was produced early because it doesn't have ADAP. That seems to be the limiting factor based on what I've seen.

Dealer needs to activate access if they are willing to.

I signed for my car on Sunday. Afterwards they activated my access to the car via MyBMW so I've been able to track it ever since. I'm now scheduled to pick up tomorrow @ 2:30PM!

I would text my salesperson once a month for updates. Usually, adding something to my build then asking if there was any movement. He contacted me when he got an allocation for my car. My original salesperson left Budds then I got a new guy. Same thing with him, just text and I usually get a response pretty quick. At the beginning I tried BMW Canada but, was told to talk to the dealership.

Winter beater - got to sort out a brake issue before taking it for safety. I ordered my m50 back in January 2022 on the initial stated delivery date of December 2022 😜. Son has taken my daily driver as his ride to high school, so this leaves me this gorgeous 2006 Honda Civic DX ( base - no Power locks; as my car so I'm not stranded at home when wife is at work and son's at school...
