What has your experience been? Do they deliver with a bow, a car cover, or nothing?
Actually, a few months back poterico2 was renowned as a chick magnet. So he may want to keep the bow for himself.Looking for responses from people who've actually received their cars.
By the way, you don't have to be a photogenic woman to expect a nice delivery experience. I'm guessing you've never watched a YouTube video before, just like you guessed I was a woman...
Mine was out back in the service area. They had been charging it overnight, I think. What has your experience been? Do they deliver with a bow, a car cover, or nothing?
Speaking of my delivery, my dealer did hand me a Bmw backpack with about $200 dollars (at the bmw store prices) worth of gifts:The delivery at my dealer is always the exact opposite of spectacular (here are your keys, do you have any questions, ah, and here is a complementary €1.99 bottle of warm sparkling wine with our dealership logo on the label). Maybe I will pick up my next car after the i4 in Munich to experience a memorable delivery for once.
Just 50%!?Poterico2 - I think you’ll find through this post that the average i4talk member is 50% more sarcastic than most psople. Maybe it’s a BMW thing….I learned it the hard way! But to answer your question, I got nothing special from my dealer. Nor do they seem to do any of that since I’ve been back a few times and I’ve never seen a bow or cover. I did get a young salesguy telling me (after I peeked at my car lovingly) - ”hey, you can order one today!”. And I said, ”no need, that one is mine.” Maybe if I was a photogenic woman it would have been different?
I got several things (see my previous post). Prior to that my daughter gave me a bmw hat, which I wore to pick up the car.My dealer did let me choose either a travel cup or a baseball hat. For FREE!
Once upon a time the deliveries of our babies were expected after nine months, to complete the analogy.Just to be sure: we are still talking about cars, right? I get a bit confused with the terminology. Delivery rooms etc. But as far as I can tell, nobody has mentioned midwives so far.
I told them not to wax mine and they did. Luckily the people doing ceramic could strip that off.I should have done this. They ended up peeling it off and “cleaning” it for me. Leaving streak marks. Looking forward to my first hand-wash now to really make this thing shine.
