Brooklyn grey all over the forum lately
I've been a fan of the silver ones since my E46. I think of it as the traditional German racing color, although white might be more correct. For us, my wife's only requirement was the red leather seats. For me, it was, unfortunately, a preference for a color that wouldn't show the dirt. We're happy.

Car Tire Vehicle Wheel Hood

I took delivery today of my M50. Ordered may 2022.

My coworker ordered at another dealership, ironically closer to my house a month later, and their car arrived at the beginning of the month.

I didn’t choose that dealership because I didn’t like the salesperson. Though on the other hand, mine wasn’t too good either. They were all kind of mediocre, including the finance manager, who talked to me about included oil changes trying to sell me maintenance. 😂.

I was like, I am paying cash, how quick can I be out of your office, you have nothing to offer me.

Also someone backed out at the dealer I bought from so they had another M50 on the lot-

At closing, we were offered the usual BMW Extended Care packages. Although they recognized that oil and engine air filter changes were not necessary, they seemed to think brake and rotor wear were a big expense item. No concept of regeneration; I think even the term was new to him. (Sales guy was good, I'm talking about the finance closer.) I did ask if the brake service included maybe a caliper lube (Seems to be a standard Tesla recommended service.). Not covered and no real clue what I was talking about. So, it's a pretty pricey.plan to cover the cabin air filters. Politely declined.

BMW calls it "recuperation" and "recuperative braking." Regen is apparently a Tesla-ism. Not that your finance person would likely know.

Todd,

you have Pirelli P Zeros. I hope those are on my car.
Good eye. I was surprised they made the P-Zeros in all-season compound, but I don't follow all that too closely. Non-run-flats, my choice. Road noise from the tires is modest and contrasts with the extreme quiet of the car (especially with the iconic sounds off).
