It’s kind of strange, because the Taycan, i4 and model 3 all does the same thing. When you’re in traffic and just darting into a small space, or accelerating out from a roundabout. But I would say the model 3 does it without any soul or bravado, it’s just less than it’s individual parts. The Taycan feels pretty great, mostly attributed to great steering feel (for an electric rack) and a real sense of control over what the car is doing. The i4, however briefly I tried it, was a bit in between. Much more alike the Taycan, but a bit unrefined maybe. I agree Taycan is too wide, same problem as Model S. Model 3 has great forward visibility, it’s just like driving a 911, just even easier. I’d say for the cost of 60% of a Taycan, you’ll get 85% of the product. Or if you look at the Tesla, you pay 30% more and get 70% better quality, design and features, but similar range and power.
