New member here! Been driving an i3 since 2015 and am looking forward to the i4 as a possible replacement for our 2019 i3s when the lease is up in 2023.

We have always loved the 4-series Gran Coupe so the i4 might just be our perfect combo!

Welcome @SSi3!

The i4 should be a great choice. Are you considering any other vehicles?
Thank you!
Ya i'm considering any other EV in that general size and range... Model Y, XC40, Polestar 2, Mach-E, ID.4 (would love an ID.3 but I don't see that coming to Canada anytime soon), Macan EV (might be a stretch)... we're open to trying others, we do love BMW so its our first choice at this point but we'll see.

Welcome to the forum @SSi3! Nice pair of i3's! Have you owned other BMWs in the past?
Thanks Tim!
Yes we had a 2010 328i Touring prior to the 2015 i3, and before that a 2010 Clubman S... prior to those was a few years of Protege5, Mazda3 hatch x 2, various VW's. How about you?

Thanks M!
I grew up building and racing RC vehicles so I’ve always wanted a full size one to drive! The i3 Rex helped get me there since it could be our one car thanks to the range extender.

That's really cool. The i3 is such an underappreciated car. It could've been so much better had BMW didn't swerve away from EVs for a while. With the performance the i4 is expected to deliver it's going to feel like a real RC car haha.

Have you seen the Ioniq 5? If you need more space, it could be a great alternative to the cheaper options you mentioned.

I was just looking at all the pics of the IONIQ 5 today, I really like it, just wish it wasn’t a Hyundai 😬

Genesis also has plan for an electric SUV, would you consider that instead?
Eh not sure, not really into their styling currently. You?

I like the styling of the GV80 as a full size SUV but I don't know how the styling will translate to a smaller crossover (I believe it'll be called GV60).
And the GV70 looks good too, little bit Macan-like...
