I have always loved BMWs and very reluctantly sold my beloved 1991 E30 convertible 325i when I had my first child 7 years ago. Finances changed considerably since and plan on buying an I4 as I think they're gorgeous and then keeping it longterm.

Do you reckon they'll keep it looking like the concept car? I love the large kidney grill and if it looks dull like the current BMW offerings I'll be a lot less tempted. It's the clean lines of their old cars from the 80s and 90s that I've always loved and this car at the moment has similar confidence in its design

Great to see this forum and hope it explodes with new members as the car nears production.

(Currently running a 9 yr old Nissan Leaf as my main car and it's been incredible as an early concept but the range is really is letting it down now and barely usable - have to use my wife's car for all my long distance commuting.)
Welcome to the forum @Firefly2005! That's a beautiful e30, sorry to hear you had to let it go. Based on what the current 4 series already looks like I think the i4 will look very close to the concept.

BMW needs to go big with this car to rejuvenate their electric car lineup. Especially when they're referring to it as their electric 3-series.
Welcome @Firefly2005

I can't believe the Leaf has already been around for 9 years....

Keep us posted on if you hear any i4 news out of the UK and I'll post anything I hear from dealers, corporate, etc.!

So excited for this thing!
