Welcome.
Do you still have the E30?
I too am waiting for the reservation process to open up.

What's incredible these days is how fast these EVs are becoming. I wouldn't be surprised if the base i4 ends up being faster than an E39 M5 was back in the day. A Tesla Model 3 Performance does 0-60 in under 3 seconds. The new i4 M or whatever BMW ends up calling it will be a tremendous performance car by any measure. The e39 was my introduction to my BMW, that car was a beast.
A friend of mine had a E46 M3 CSL and oh man that car is a sensory overload. The sound is as perfect as you can get and it's so responsive around corners. What's incredible these days is how fast these EVs are becoming. @BimmerTim I have not owned any BMWs but I have come close to buying BMWs several times. In various years, I almost bought an E46 330ci ZHP, a BMW i3 for a commuter, an E46 M3 Competition, a Z3, an E30 convertible, and others. In every instance I ended up with something else but almost bought the BMW. In recent years I have been really interested in electric vehicles and I think there is a good chance the i4 finally becomes my first BMW!
