Hi,

I am currently deciding which model I should get. If I add the things that come standard with the m50, lik m performance package and bigger wheels, I get a price difference of roughly 6k € in Germany. For sure it is nice to have a performance model but since we don't get snow where I live (no need for AWD) and if I won't use launch control, I am also not getting the extra power boost.

So I am leaning towards the eDrive40. Someone else getting the eDrive40 over the m50?

I’ll most likely get the eDrive40 since it’s got a better range and also costs $10k less than the M50. I’ll get winter tires to make up for the lack of AWD.

I really like the M50 but will most likely go with the eDrive40 too. The lower price and more range is a plus.

Even with AWD I would still want winter tires on the M50.

I usually end up with winter tires… My Volvo V60 CrossCountry was fine without them this past winter. I held off on gettting them since I worked from home 100% due to COVID and the roads here in the Detroit area are salted a lot.

Im thinking the i4 wheels and tires are so wide they’ll be worse than my Volvo.

I also think the less weight of the eDrive40 will help around corners :) because no matter how good the chassis, it cannot hide the over 2 tons! So less is always helpful!
I might go with the frozen grey m performance and portimao blue.
