I4 M50 confusing horsepower numbers..

I am seeing a claimed 536 horsepower on my reserved car here in Canada, however 544 horsepower on..European models? Does anyone have more details?

Most likely different ways to measure power output, acceleration, etc in various regions.
536 is the horsepower figure. 544 is the output in PS i.e. metric horsepower

My deduction is Canadian horses are stronger. need less of them for same amount of pull... 🤣

Not only for the M50 but for the e40 some say 335 bhp some 340. Although in kW they say the same so it's a conversion issue.
It would be easier for them if they say for the e40 "a lot" and for the M50 "a huge lot":p

i would say "barely enough" and "nearly too much"
