The GM at my dealership switched from 50 to 40. He wanted the range over all else. Everyone has their hotspot. A lot of people prefer RWD, at least that is what I have seen here.
What confuses me about the new model is that the estimated range on 18 inch wheels with front and rear motors is 307 miles compared to just 301 miles for the rear drive only e40. I would have thought the range would be lower with the extra weight? Perhaps the range has to do with software improvements for the new model year which those of us who bought our i4's last year may also get to enjoy through a software update?
