As I mentioned a while back- coding ECU’s that are on securecode 2.0 could be a possibility in the future… well… the future is now. The process is not as simple as Bimmercode or bimmerutility… but for those that have a functional understanding of esys, and bmw software- it’s now possible to code individual values. Here is a description of the process, and what it takes (basically you need to download and edit a CAFD, find a vendor that will digitally sign the CAFD you’d like modified, then re-insert it into your ecu). The downside to this method is that every software update bmw pushes to that ecu will overwrite your coding, and you’ll have to do it again. The upside is bmw rarely pushes “significant” updates lol.
