I’m not 100% certain I can pull it off either, TBH! Wanted something unique though 🙂

 

Some initial details and thoughts:

• Apparently the first frozen purple produced at the Munich plant 🙂
• It has absolutely every option. The only thing I didn’t go with was Merino as I didn’t like any of the colours with the purple.
• I love the mocha, but the leather isn’t fantastic.
• Funny to say, but it’s actually more purple than I expected. Definitely unique! The amount of head turns I noticed as I drove home was insane!
• The ride hight is ridiculous. Needs a drop BADDLY!
• It’s definitely quick, but I immediately felt the weight. Hides it well and feels surprising nimble, but the weight is noticeable.
• Took some getting used to, but I really enjoy one-pedal driving.
• I hate, HATE the seats 😖 Absolutely terrible bolstering with the ventilation!! I will say, however, that the ventilation is much better than in my last car, so that’s positive at least. Honestly the worst seats I’ve had in a while. Such a let down in a car at this price point.

I agree with you on all of these points, except the seats. I know almost everyone here hates the ventilated seats, but I actually don't find them to be lacking bolstering, but it may be because I wasn't driving AMGs and hadn't experienced good bolstering 🤔

By the way, does your car have the leather dashboard? Mine has it, and it came with the mini glovebox near the steering wheel; did they get rid of that for cars with leather dashboards too?

Awesome! I think you have the 3rd purple i4 on here but the first frozen one. Looks great, now get it PPF'd as I've heard those frozen paints are hard to maintain and if it gets dinged/scratched there's no easy way to correct it. Enjoy your car! it's been a long wait but well worth it!

 

Full front PPF and tints happening on Tuesday/Wednesday.

This is actually my 3rd matte car so I’ve had experience looking after them. Matte paint is honestly not as bad to maintain as people think.

 

Can you share where you’re getting the PPF done? I’ve been looking for a shop near Hamilton and getting no love.

Interesting. I was told it’s a new colour for 2023. Again, coming directly from BMW, not the dealer.
