Thought I might as well join, as I have been reading this forum since before my car was delivered back in 2023.
A lot of great content here, but sometimes I feel I could add to the conversation, but of course have not been able to.
I have a Brooklyn Grey eDrive 40 M-Sport and absolutely love it.
I've driven just over 67000km so far and averaged just over 15kW/100km (about 4.1 miles/kWh for most of you I think).
I'm in New Zealand, so we have fairly mild weather, but it's not flat and we get lots of rain.
Only had one bad day since owning it.
When only a few months old I was driving along the motorway and a truck ahead was dumping stones all over the place. Every other car was re-flinging the stones, so there was nowhere to go. Was like a hail storm.
Later as traffic slowed, I though I might be able to get past, but my lane stopped and the guy behind hit me in the back - great! both ends in the space of a few minutes.
New lights, bumper, windscreen and rear diffuser (that was only deeply scratched) Mirror caps and bonnet re-painted.
$20k+ in damage.
Luckily the truck driver accepted fault and it was all done on insurance with brand new parts, so all good.
Got PPF after that.
Originally my car came with the Hankook S1 Evo 3 tyres. They were efficient, but terrible to drive on - When cornering I had no idea if my car would follow the curve or go into the ditch.
Due to roadworks ripping one of my rears (2am in the middle of nowhere), I ended up with Michelin PS5s on the back as that was all that was available at the time.
This totally transformed the drivability of the car - it's awesome!, but at a loss of efficiency, that even now that they are needing replacement never fully returned.
Looking at possibly going for the Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 6, because they seem to be more efficient than the PS5s, and similar performance - anyone tried them yet?
