I've had my 2023 BMW i4 M50 for less than 6 months and 6,000 miles and this is my second tire road hazard. I love this car with my soul, but it doesn't love me back. Already replaced one rear tire that had a staple on the inside sidewall. That takes talent and acrobatics to achieve. Now I have a screw a little too close to the sidewall on one of the front tires. We will see if it can be repaired or needs to be replaced. Its not like I'm driving through construction zones. Do these Michelins have magnets in them?

So sorry... but shift that blame in your mind; it's not the car or the tires...
Terry hit a full on BOLT on I-25 driving my Impreza summer 2018... the hole it left was about 1/4" and blew the tire out completely. Not a good thing at 75mph... tore up the car pretty bad as she spun across three lanes of traffic into the roadside bouncing off cars as she went. Nothing to do with her, the car, the tire, or anything. Just crap luck. However, she's lucky to be alive and to have been released from the hospital after a couple hours. She rarely drives I-25 any more.
Oh... and I was in Johannesburg when it happened and it took me almost 48 hours to get home on full scramble...
