MY23 door panel storage ambient delete question...

First picture, MY22 with the door panel storage ambient, second picture is MY23 without... The holes are there, and I guess BMW deleted the storage ambient along with the door entry light since it's on the same loom which is missing on the MY23. Does anyone know the light's part number for the storage ambient? I know it's stupid but that's why it's OCD

This deletion, the driver side glovebox, puddle lights, and lights on the outermost front vents irritates me. Good luck finding the parts, and if you end up doing it, please post a tutorial! Thank you!

Found them haha, it's fiber-optic light bar to standard BMW ambient LED, should be piece of cake...

Fiber-optic door pocket front left 63316998139
Fiber-optic door pocket front right 63316998140
LED module violet 63319891437

Air vents though, I think the lights are built in to the air vents but somehow missing the wiring loom, will take it apart later to check it out...

Was this a temporary deletion or do all cars not come with this now? Would this show up in a vin checker?

the door wiring has changed and probably no wiring for the door pocket LED and the puddle light...

Yeah, but it's easy to make a wire tapping into any existing ambient lighting wire. Years of LEGOing Audi make this a piece of cake project, parts already ordered.

Driver side compartment parts ordered! Will be using my partner's MY22 e40 and trace the outline for my cutout... Hope I don't destroy the dash haha...

Woah, you have that little storage space? my 23 didn't get it, I'm in Hong Kong as well. I don't even have the lock on the glove compartment.

I think what he meant is if you read through the posts…. I have MY23 with door pocket/air vent/ puddle light and driver compartment delete…That’s why this thread why I need to order parts to retrofit…

Is this something I can ask a dealer to order and install? Don’t think I would do it myself but the ambient lighting is definitely lacking a bit

Cutting into wiring is necessary so dealer will not do it.
