A developer can also choose to roll out an app version to only some people to make sure it's stable.

It's 24 hours since @tonyquan found this and I now gotta say...."so what?"

Another meaningless statistic courtesy of BMW. What is my "community"? No idea of the comparison group. They are clearly loons if I'm 7% more efficient, especially as nearly all my journeys this month have been short distances (about 7 miles), the worst sort of journey for efficiency. Maybe my "community" only use their £80,000 M50 to drive to the local supermarket 🤪

And what are the recommendations going to be?

• @rollermonkey, only drive down hill
• @ssh, stay at home this weekend, it's cold in those mountains today (and every day)
• @cruzer666, slow down
• @J_P, do you really want to overtake that line of traffic? It's so much more relaxing driving at 15 mph

It was fun while it lasted but I'm ready to move on. Some of the other features may be more useful for some people.

Mine has stopped giving me the community stat too. Now it tells me my consumption is 14% up on average compared with last month. Must be because I stopped using Eco Pro.

I don’t either. I am guessing that it doesn’t work without MyTrips activated. I pretty much nope to all personal tracking permissions when it’s optional.

As this metric is described as consumption and is measured by the app in kWh/100miles, a lower number is good. So being -5% compared to the community means being 5% more efficient. All agree?
