If you are from Norway, introduce yourself and share details of your 2022+ BMW i4 here.
Welcome!I am from Norway! Trondheim, to be more specific. I've ordered th i4 M50 xdrive, "fully charged" version (don't know if these equipment packages are relevant in other countries..), portimao blue (unfrozen), 19 inch wheels, shadow line, black leather interior and a few more extras. Hope to get the car before christmas, as a present to myself! I'm selling my Alfa Romeo 159 ti q4, to make financial and physical space for the beamer. Still have an e-Golf, but it's mainly occupied by the younger generation. And the Golf is obviously gonna stay, as I don't want to send teenagers out on the road with 544 hp at their disposal!
Yes, both the Polestar 2, Tesla model Y and the Kia EV6 were potential candidates, but when the i4 came with very reasonable price in Norway it was a nobrainer!Welcome!
Did you consider getting any other EVs before deciding to go with the i4?
What is i4 pricing like in Norway? Regardless of what it's priced anywhere, I think the i4 is unmatched!Yes, both the Polestar 2, Tesla model Y and the Kia EV6 were potential candidates, but when the i4 came with very reasonable price in Norway it was a nobrainer!

Welcome to the forum guys! From Oslo here, but swedish nationality (lived here since -97). Orderer a m50 Fully charged, and added most from the Super Charged pack, except leather on dash and leather seats (like the alcantara, standard seats). Portimao blue
Been driving all electric since 2016 when i bought a TMS 75D, which I still have. Happy with it, and would love to buy a new TMS, but its too expensive here in Norway (about 105K USD for cheapest version). I will pay about 70K USD for my car, getting nice discounts of about 10 % in total. We have no VAT either in Norway for EV's, only thing that is cheap in Norway....
Also have a Peugeot E-208 by the way, nice city car![]()
Yeah, I've had a short test of the Polestar 2. It's a beautiful car, drives great, practical, not too expensive, but it came with a lot of bugs in the beginning. Probably better now, after a few updates. I prefer the i4, simple as that!Welcome to the forum guys!
@magnus600 did you get a chance to test drive a Polestar 2 by any chance? I haven't had the opportunity but I'm curious what they're like.
@Lowe Lindroth Great choice with the portimao blue for your i4 M50. are you planning on replacing the Model S with the i4?

Very nice! I am about to order the same color. why did u choose black for the interior? I want to go with something else than black. Tacora (red) looks very interesting with carbon fibre.I am from Norway! Trondheim, to be more specific. Did you experience any bugs on your test drive?Yeah, I've had a short test of the Polestar 2. It's a beautiful car, drives great, practical, not too expensive, but it came with a lot of bugs in the beginning. Probably better now, after a few updates. I prefer the i4, simple as that!
I didn't realize the price gap was that much wow. I'd be doing the same thing if that's the case haha.HI,
yes - replacing the TMS with the M50. I would happily buy a new TMS if it was in the same price range as the M50, but unfortunately it costs over 35k USD more here for the Long Range model. Too expensive for me, and I dont need as large a car as the TMS anymore, so the BMW suits me perfect.
No, but that was only a short test drive with a Polestar representative beside me. But if you read some fb forums regarding the car you see what I mean. A lot of owners are reporting serious problems. But I hope they can sort it out. Anyway, let us not talk about Polestar, that's not why I'm here!Did you experience any bugs on your test drive?
I think there was a large recall for them as well right? No, but that was only a short test drive with a Polestar representative beside me. Welcome to the forum!Hey!
I ordered my m50 this week. Supercarged equipment pack with almost everything, only carbon exterior pack and red callpiers was left out.
Got it for 687.000NOK translates to about 66.000 Euro. Finally a car that is cheaper in Norway than anywhere else i guess.. Atleast a car i wanted to buy.
Also i got the BMW homecharger without a locking function for 10.000NOK with instal included. I think it was listed at 14.000.
Im comming from a 2018 530E, never had a pure electric car so this will be interesting. After my experience with the 530E i dont think i would ever go pure gas/diesel ever again. To be honest i was waiting for the new mercedes C/E class with 100KM hybrid range and diesel engine to become available. But i guess BMW beat them by making it possible to configure and order the i4 already.. 😂
Dealer is telling me to not have my hopes up for getting the car by april, but thats what im hoping for. I would rather not take delivery mid winter, but i still hope to get the car before this time next year.
I went for the 20" rims, Sanremo green with oyster interior. Could not convince my wife that "brown" leather looks nice in cars, esp green cars.. So white it is.. I think it will be a nice contrast still!

I had to go with the 20" despite the range loss on paper. If it becomes a big problem i will probably just try to sell them and get some 19"s.. Honestly i dont think ill have a problem if the range drops all the way to 400KM. 😄
Not electric. As mentioned above, i guess i would have ordered a Mercedes DE of either the E class or C class in the new generation had it been available right now.Welcome to the forum!
Did you consider any other vehicles before going with the i4?
Welcome to the forum @Starlight! What convinced you to go with the i4? Were you looking at any other cars?I am from Gjøvik, and I ordered the i4 M50 on the 15. september, with almost everything except for the M-sport seats and carbonfiber package and some smaller deatils, but this might change, chose the sapphire black and black leather with blue/black stiching.
The seller told me he was unsure if I would get the 22 or 23 model year, so delivery is estimated to Q4 2022, but nothing about this in the contract.
Thank you!Welcome to the forum @Starlight! What convinced you to go with the i4? Were you looking at any other cars?
