Hi all,

This is the thing that makes a noise when the car is moving at less than, I think, 12 mph. Has anyone heard what this sounds like on the i4?

Some cars are horrible (I’m looking at you Kia EV6, sounds like the machines in the war of the worlds).

It's an EU regulation that electric and hybrids should emit an acoustic vehicle alert whilst driving < 20km/h.

EU rules making electric vehicles noisier take effect

As of Monday, all new models of electric and hybrid vehicles developed and sold in the European Union must come equipped with an acoustic sound system. Vehicles will have to produce a sound when reversing, or driving below 12 miles per hour, according to the UK government.
