I thought there was a poll like that but I couldn't find it. So...
Which Navigation will you use with your i4?

I selected Waze, but that's only because I know it. Ideally, I would use iDrive 8 Maps, once I get to see it and play with it.

Believe me or not, I used CarPlay only once in my current car. It’s way more convenient to use native idrive and its navigation. You can also listen to your Spotify music using the inbuilt app.

I like Waze because it is good for reporting mobile speed cameras.

(/Boris Johnson mode on) It's not that I ever speed, its just that they indicate accident black-spots and so I know to increase my vigilance (/Boris Johnson mode off)

During my test drive (Introduction and i4 M50 test drive 'review') I tested Android Auto integration and Waze and it integrates well. Even got turn directions on the HUD.

The one caveat I would add is that the default BMW navigation may be useful on a long journey for planning chargers and charge preconditioning.

Most of the additional features are nice but I can live without them. However, you make a good point about using Waze for alerts while using the BMW map for navigation. I will certainly try it out.
