Hi everyone,
Any second wavers receive their production number yet?
I pre-ordered my i4 back in late july. At this point I have already test drove the vehicle and have bugged my dealership about 1238678 times for any update since they put in my build in november. Last correspondence with them was that we will maybe get our production number "within the month". I feel like many of the 1st wavers didn't have to wait this long to at least get a production number. Or am I wrong? I just want to be able to track the status and be a little more in the know for a car i ordered last summer...

Just looked - July 11th. Crickets.
I’ve actually never seen a definition of 1st & 2nd wavers.
I should be getting mine this month, the guy showed me his computer screen and I was literally up next. I am a second waver. Pre ordered in September.

Yeah, it’s the ‘from summer’ part that‘s vague. That could be from late June to anytime beyond. Winter 2022 or even first quarter of 23 would technically fit that definition.BMW never defined them, but there were certainly two different groups for US pre-orders.

Then it's no surprise that my pre-order (edrive40) in late Sept and Dealer order entry in Late Nov has no production information. A July-Sept delivery of a 2023 model would be perfect for me.
