I saw my first i4 in the wild today - maybe not a big deal to some of you, but wanted to share.

I took delivery the first week of September, and I've only seen one other i4, a Delaware tagged eDrive 40 charging at the EA station in Cherry Hill NJ.

Other than the dealership's demo M50, I haven't seen any out in the wild yet.

My dealer in Indianapolis I believe is the largest in the state. My CA said they have only delivered a few e40's and 1 M50. I think it is very unlikely to see an i4 in Indiana yet.

I got a production date on mine today...Indy. Ordered in March.

I saw a Portimao Blue i4 at the Costco Beaverton, Oregon parking lot around a month ago. And we picked up my wife's i4 M50 last Saturday, so I have been seeing one 'in captivity' each day since . Our CA said they have delivered ~ 30 i4s this year and of those around 5 or 6 were M50s. That was last weekend. I know at least two i4talk members in Portland have their cars at this dealership so the total count might be up to 40 or 45 by now. I'm just guessing, but I believe the dealership in downtown Portland has probably delivered three times as many so we should start seeing more i4s zipping by on the local roads.

Ive seen 2 in the wild both e40s not counting the one I saw being picked up from the dealership the same day we picked ours up.

Every time I think I've seen one in the wild, either I see tail pipes, or cannot confirm it either way.
Not more than 4 or 5 22/23 4-series of any flavor, including my own though.

0 i4 in the wild in PA so far for me. I've seen one iX, but it it was at a charging station, so hard to really call that wild. I've managed to see a couple e-trons (both SUV and GT), EQS, and Taycan while charging as well where I haven't noticed them on the road... Mostly it's been the hyundai and kia things with a VW or two sprinkled in.

My wife pre-ordered on the BMW website around June 6, 2021 and she received a confirmation email from BMW dated June 17th, 2021.

I haven't seen another i4, but I did have an iX pull in beside me at the EA station in Asheville NC.

Though there are several members of this forum who have mentioned that they are driving in the area, so someday...

I live somewhere between you and @VicPortland , haven't seen a single one in the wild. I thought I saw a white one yesterday, but alas it had tail pipes. My mother in law did get a kick out if speeding up a bit to check it out. 😂 I think she loves my car as much as I do!

I have not seen an i4 or iX in the wild. My dealer has delivered a grand total of 3 i4s so far (all eDrive40s). I have seen Mach E, ID.4, EV6, and Ioniq 5. Hell, I've even seen an i8. And, obviously, I can't not see Teslas.

I’ve seen none in Pittsburgh, but plenty of Taycans.
