So I did a little intro in the New Members section the other day saying I’d managed to bag an “in stock” car through my salary sacrifice scheme at work.

Should be plain sailing right? Being that the car is already built and in a warehouse. Well, that was Monday and as this forum suggests, 5 days is a long time in BMW world. I had a call from the fleet manager today to waffle about “stop sale” and “we need to wait for updates/parts from Germany”

I knew it was too good to be true. I’d have almost felt bad for many of you who have waiting months if I’d just waltzed in and snagged one immediately without hiccup.

So now I’m on the frontline with you all, watching, powerless 😓😂

something to do with a diagnostics malfunction during quality check. The genius said “they are working on the car’s control units” - no timeframe yet.
