BMW has updated the Spotify app at least a dozen times in the last 3 years since I've had the car. If it's supported in iDrive 8.0/8.5, they'll update the app.

 

I'm just curious if BMW would be willing to pick up the check for the extra data usage for all their cars. I hope the answer is yes, but they're still a business.

 

I doubt my 53yr old ears have the fidelity to discern the difference.....

 

I'm not against it, but I doubt that anyone's ear are going to be able to discern a difference in a car.

 

They can put a cost of it, USD 10 per month ?

 

And for me - no problems with CarPlay and iDrive8
