Story About BMW's shipping without Apple CarPlay is Wrong

Funny story: a dealer friend of mine hit me up asking me if I could share on the forum that this rumor that BMW models are being shipped without Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is.... just a rumor.

In fact, it's not true. At least not in the US.

I saw the story on Automotive News and those guys aren't often wrong, so I wanted to do my homework. So I reached out to BMW directly.

I wonder how long it's going to be before the articles correcting this start coming out.

First line in the article says "some" vehicles are not shipping CP and AA........looks like the i4 will be spared, but BMW will have to straighten all this out with the press.
