BMW has a new video out explaining some of the feautres they have to make their electric and hybrid vehicles charge and drive as efficiently as possible.

BMW continuously supports customers to be using eDrive technologies in the best way. BMW electric vehicles come with features and services that sincerely enhance the efficiency of electric driving. These include the intelligent BMW eDrive regulation systems, connectivity services for XEVs, and the high voltage battery and charging technology. All of these working together form the core of Sheer Electric Driving Pleasure.

In this video you will learn how to keep the driving range as high as possible by implying simple changes such as: preconditioning, removing unnecessary accessories, or keeping the windows closed. There are two factors that primarily affect the vehicle’s range during the journey: your driving style, and certain vehicle settings. Therefore using “Eco Pro” mode, setting the recuperation level to “Adaptive” or using the route-ahead assistant, all have a positive impact on driving efficiency.

Finally, learn more about charging your electric vehicle correctly. The charging process from 0 to 80 percent is considerably faster than charging the last 20 percent. Another possibility to make charging more efficient is charging up to a programmed departure time.

Keeping these factors in mind will help you maximising the range of your BMW — and with BMW technology, services and solutions, driving electric will be easy, convenient, and enjoyable.

Great find!

Like how they actually go into detail about the different ways of optimizing your efficiency.

And look at the IX next to the IX3. How can people dislike the new front when they are standing next to each other like in this video. The IX3 looks like a thing from the past

It really does look dated compared to the iX. More than I would've expected.
