The driver's window seal was torn

I don't know if I'm pronouncing this correctly, but if I'm posting in the wrong place, I'd appreciate it if you could correct me.
I've been hearing a noise when I opened the driver's door for a while now, but I didn't examine it closely. It sounded like it was coming from the door window seals (I don't know if this is the exact English equivalent). I decided to take a closer look. When I opened the door, as the window was lowering, I noticed that the seal attached to the body above the window had either torn or lifted.
I don't know how to upload a video. Can anyone help? The easiest way to demonstrate this is with a video.
The rubber on the small triangular piece where the side mirrors on the driver's door meet the door is touching the seal and lifting it. This is how I interpreted it. I took the car to the dealership, but it's unclear whether it will be covered under warranty. There's no way I or the car wash could do this myself because I constantly check it and I think it's a factory issue. What's your situation?
I tried to show it in pictures, but I don't know how to upload a video.

Yes, and the service considered it outside the warranty. They offered to cover 20% of the part and labor. I asked if they would say it was an external factor if the same thing happened again because I think it was the rubber on the triangular piece where the mirror meets the door. This piece has rubbed against it, so I think the problem is the piece there.
