Thank you. I had not considered a patch which may be the better option. I will check at a tire repair place as suggested. Really like your sunset orange. Family overruled me, but I think thats a great color for the i4
In fact my whole family chose the orange, when I was think of an individual color of mauve (aka lilac orchid)

In the end I did well with a standard color. My car was built in early feb 2022 and got out before the war that disrupted the supply lines and introduced defective parts in many cars. Waiting for mauve could have given me trouble later on.

My granddaughter has drawn me driving up into the mountains.

Note the speed lines around the car.

That’s awesome (and a special/sweet drawing) 🥰. Based on the ‘speed lines‘, I’m guessing your granddaughter knows you well. 😅

So this thread has seen the future, as a few days after reading and participating in this discussion, I got a screw lodged in one my tires (of all things a machine screw with a blunt end). It was smack dab in the middle of the tread on a rear tire, so I went ahead and plugged it. I've been keeping an eye on it, and so far over a few days, it is still holding the proper air pressure. This will be a good experiment to see if it will hold, I'm not too concerned about a blow out, given the location in a rear tire.

BTW, I used a 1.5T scissor jack, and I think that was a bad idea, it was creaking and straining when lifting the car. I'm going to get a 2T jack to replace it.

Eek!
This is the model I ordered today, based upon my inquiry as to what is included in their i4 spare tire kit:
