I ended up going with the bmw floor mats and bmw mat for the cargo section. Curious what else y’all have been up to.
Thanks

Which ones did you choose for these? Got photos?Roof crossbars.

I was born in the 60s so I have some creativity in that regardWow. How did you ever get them lit? And it must've take a very large water pipe![]()
They do not smell and the temp was 110F.Weird question maybe, but do the rubber mats smell? I often find that with rubber, especially when it gets warm, for instance when the car was in the sun.
I have ceramic tint on all windows and it really helps keeping the heat out.I did ceramic film across the top of front windshield. Still debating on doing ceramic film for all the windows. I did do the Ceramic wax on the exterior paint, decided not to do the PPF. I added Alloygators to the wheels, mostly for aesthetics, but it does offer some curb protection for your wheels as well. lol
I installed the BMW trunk mat, but went with after market floor mats front and rear to match the Mocha ventilated seats. View attachment 27345
What about the frunk? I am waiting on mine arrived from Germany. One of my personality traits is that when I'm looking forward to something, I tend go a little crazy on accessories/equipment:
My car is coming in early May. Here is what I have purchased so far:
Tow hook mount license plate holder: https://a.co/d/aeEv8OQ
Bumper scrape guards: https://a.co/d/7K8OeV1
Center console sliding drawer: https://a.co/d/1NB3vfS
Center console cubby: For BMW F40 F44 G20 G26 G29 G01 G02 G05 G07 G08 Gear Storage Storage Box Black | eBay (cheaper on ali express)
Umbrella sun shield: https://a.co/d/8TxZdMv (got mine at Costco, but essentially this)
Air wedges for when the charge port cover sticks: https://a.co/d/hSh15Bm
OBD adapter for Bimmercode: https://a.co/d/d6QUezN
Keyfob cover: https://a.co/d/bonecV0
Also, various and sundry car was supplies as I intend to do my own car washing to protect the finish.
I'm calling my dealer's parts department today to arrange OEM all weather mats, and roof bars for my bike racks.
Also, in my car's "every day carry" bin: First aid kit, fire extinguisher, water, emergency rations, and a blanket.
I have a couple of years old dashcam that I'll install until a significantly better one comes to market.
Oh yeah, I also installed a gate across my driveway to keep the car from thieving eyes, and a tent to somewhat keep the car out of the weather.
Too much time has passed since I ordered, clearly.![]()
Mine is the M50, and I'm not aware of a frunk kit for this model. What about the frunk? I am waiting on mine arrived from Germany.
Oh man, I didnt know this was possible. Perfect spot for the key! Here we go again, adding to the wishlist.Center console cubby:
No room on the M50. You get to have fun with the power and AWD instead of storing your FlexCharger there...Mine is the M50, and I'm not aware of a frunk kit for this model.I would absolutely have ordered one if they could do it!
this is a pretty robust list. Thanks for sharing! Curious, what are the air wedges and OBD adapter for specifically? Would you suggest the scrape guards to someone who has no intent on lowering his car?One of my personality traits is that when I'm looking forward to something, I tend go a little crazy on accessories/equipment:

Right? A reasonable exchange, I think. No room on the M50. You get to have fun with the power and AWD instead of storing your FlexCharger there...![]()
Wedges: There is a known issue with the latch on the charge door, that it sticks and won't allow you to charge. There are differing viewpoints on how common it actually is, but on the off chance that it happens to me, I don't want to be at a rapid charger with 10% battery looking at a tow to the dealership when a $15 tool can get me moving. basically you slip the bladder under the flap, then pump it up with air to pop the latch. THEN you can drive to the dealer to get it addressed.this is a pretty robust list. Thanks for sharing! Curious, what are the air wedges and OBD adapter for specifically? I was thinking about the antidazzle when I saw your post. If I were to order the OBS adapter in a few months when my car allegedly arrives, may I DM you on how to enable this?Wedges: There is a known issue with the latch on the charge door, that it sticks and won't allow you to charge. OBS adapter: This allows you to tweak car settings that aren't officially "BMW blessed" for your market, or that aren't in the menu system of the infotainment system. I'm planning on enabling the anti-dazzle headlights to start with.
Scrape guards: The air dam on the front lip of my mini cooper would consistently scrape on the street pulling out of my driveway. I consider the scrape guards to be an ablative layer in case the same is true for the new i4.![]()
There are threads about this:I was thinking about the antidazzle when I saw your post. If I were to order the OBS adapter in a few months when my car allegedly arrives, may I DM you on how to enable this?
I'm happy to share what I learn, but the article that ssh just linked to is going to be my starting point as well. I've done a little coding of my Mini with some software that was mostly in German, so I have a little experience. I'm expecting Bimmercode to be much more user friendly and involve less Google translate.I was thinking about the antidazzle when I saw your post. The anti-dazzle is all in expert mode (variable names read like they were created by German-speakers for the most part). But, that thread makes it pretty straightforward.I'm happy to share what I learn, but the article that ssh just linked to is going to be my starting point as well. Thanks, yes I think I will have all the windows done soon. Did you also tint the rear glass? I'm reluctant to do mine because I've seen so many cars with bubbles in the rear tint. I know some were not professionally done, but it does seem odd that a lot of cars seem to have rear adherence issues!I have ceramic tint on all windows and it really helps keeping the heat out.
