Matte or frozen does not look good for twilight purple. Imo just looks blah.blah meh meh. The deep purples are lost. I love frozen colors otherwise.
Even the official frozen purple is a bit different. Albeit neat, I think regular twilight purple is more impressive.

I just wrapped a 2017 Ferrari F12 TDF in Hong Kong viola, and white interior, gold wheels… funny how similar it looks to my i4 m50… very close to twilight purple and we did some samples on the paint in stealth and totally boring. So glossy ppf over entire vehicle was what I did.

Ya, it’s quite a bit different. Much darker for one, but also doesn’t seem as “deep” as twilight.

Fwiw… if you are able. Just give them as much time as they need. It’s a car that has a lot of edges and best never to rush a PPF install

don’t your have painted gloss black rockers? As there is patterns for that with cut outs for the angel wing projectors too.

hopefully you had them remove badges for the film install.
Personally I don’t have any i4 badges or m50… as they look cluttered anyhow. But if they do remove them and you want them back, hopefully they made some patterns to be sure they go back with mm accuracy.

One of these kits can do two doors… the precut 1/2inch approx by couple inch long… these are great to put under the door handles. They are just the right size and will prevent fingers slipping off. But the installation has to be exactly perfect alignment. If any edge is slightly off they can lift off or fall off by the edge getting dirty or getting caught up.

I used these and also the razer brand… razer brand has better adhesive but the grip on this setex kit is better. So overall like these best.

if you want you can cut up the other pieces and make one kit work. But I just got two kits, and used the precut pieces as they have nice radius edge corners.

I am in no hurries. Car has been there since May 26th. I am willing to wait and want it perfect.

Yes, my rockers are painted gloss black. Template will be helpful. I will also order those Anti-Slips as well as they will come in handy.

There was a twilight purple M4 convertible in the showroom when I went to the dealership yesterday to sign papers. Gotta say, it’s gorgeous! Even more so in person.

Made my frozen purple look a bit one-dimensional, actually 😕

I love this pic. Even in 2024, its one of the few non-filtered photos which crops up when you google for 'i4 twilight purple'

I just ordered mine in the same color
