I'm just next door so I have heard it all It's my wife favorite color and always wanted a purple car since the e36 color techno violet came out.

For those of you who've missed out on the best grape flavored soda in the world.... And yes, I smuggle it into the state from Alabama.

You do have to admit that there's a striking resemblance.

That color was just awesome!!!!!

I had a TVR Cerbera in Techno Violet. I loved that colour! I was so miffed when my BMW dealer told me I couldn't have the purple from the 2-series on my car.

Did you talk to the new car sales manager?
You can’t even request an individual manufaktur color until you have the production number.
But your dealer can… but whomever you talked to just doesn’t know… most likely.

Could be that. Although my dealer has been with the company a while, you’d expect him to know this stuff. It doesn’t matter, anyway - I’m not going to change anything on my build in case it delays it still further!

It arrived in mint condition! No need to get with fedex to insure/replace items. Hopefully, I have some pics this weekend of the installs. Gotta order the correct PDC soon

Park Distance Control Sensor. Since mine is e40 it has this galaxy grey sensor instead of galaxy black sensor.

That gloss black is BMW 668 color, you can paint the existing PDC sensors with 668 and clear coat in spray can form. No need to pay $400 for the painted OEM parts.

668 is jet black and not correct color for pdc sensor. They are matte finish with sparkles. Plus painting pdc will throw them off alittle bit. I got some on order with correct range for $100.

M50 rear fender flares are on! Used OEM double side precut sticky tape with Primer 94. Gotta wait 72 hours for it to fully cure.

I felt that this spoiler was not right for the G26 when I saw it for the first time, but then I saw it from the side...

... and I remembered what I do with carbon fiber spoilers, and I felt better.
