Got my spoiler back from local bodyshop. I think it’s a few shades off and missing the blackness to it. Gonna test fit on car to make sure sure.

I think it looks great. Might be material differences affecting perception of color? Where did you get the spoiler?
Maybe or base that was sprayed was wrong? This is a the Mperformance Spoiler for the i4. I bought it from a dealer in Denmark along with front lip and rear diffuser.

Even if the color comes from the same paint mix, and was matched by computer vision system to the OEM paint shade, the material of item to be painted will change the color tone so slightly.

This is is a set of i4 M50 parts painted Atlantis (mirrors, rear spoiler, and front bumper reflectors) from the same paint mix and vision color matched to the OEM Atlantis shade of an OEM part (F80 rear diffuser):
Image

Notice that the Atlantis shade of the reflectors are slightly off from the other parts - the plastic of the reflectors are always tricky to color match because of the adhesive added to the paint code mix to make the paint stick better to plastic. It looks less off in real life. The mirrors and the spoiler color shade is almost identical to the OEM shade in real life, but still each one is slightly off from each other, even when all are painted with the same color code from the same paint batch.

We may try remixing the Atlantis color code for the reflectors once we get the car so we can see how far this shade is from the bumper shade. We already found this problem before:

However, sometimes even OEM bumpers are also slightly off shade from the OEM metal body - this is because bumpers are painted in a different facility from the factory paint booth:

Real life color shades differences are not that obvious as in photos, so your Twilight Purple parts should match the OEM shade much better when you install them.

@Technic This is what I am hoping once I put on car it's not so noticeable. The scheme is alittle off but I can live with it though. Thanks for the detail and thorough writeup for us to read :D

Mocked it up when I got home. Color is noticeably off. It doesn’t have the dark/blackness to twilight purple it is missing. In bright sunlight it’s not noticeable. I just emailed IND to see if they can fix this spoiler for me as paint color is off and tape line :/

You may need to send the charger cap with the spoiler to IND so they can custom match TP paint code to the real shade of your car. Otherwise the color may come back in the same shade as now.

The CF lip stripe against TP looks better than I expected.

IND painted my fender flares and its 100% match. The local body shop painted off Paint Code and not my scanning my mirror cap.

This painted spoiler will go on once its fixed. I love it much better then full cf.

For bumpers often the flex agent causes a slight difference in color. Plastic and from part require flex agent or the first time the part flexes you will need to repaint.

Waiting for my M50......

Yes, but with poor tape lines and flow. I’m gonna get it redone.

All packed and ready to go to IND for the special treatment :)

You shouldn't have put it into the washing machine. That's what messed up your paint job!

I'm debating those color reflectors so please post pics when you're done and let us know how easy it was to put them in?
It’s super easy like the video @Technic posted in your thread inquiring about it. Since, car coming straight from the factory. The double side sticky tape be fresh and easy to peel off.

Yes it works.

Love the gloss rockers. Seems IND is still waiting on getting more of the parts in stock. Had ordered two sets and been on backorder 3months

anyhow, how easy was it to install these? Would love to know
1 out of 10 as for hardness. If you can install the M Performance kit then this is a piece of cake. I took the last stock when I ordered from Germany.
