All windows were rolled down when car was parked

Tonight when I got to my car I realized that all the windows have been rolled down. It is very strange as I’m 100% sure I haven’t done that. Even the moon roof was open. It was happened when I was away from the car as it was raining and the rain stopped half an hour before I got to my I4 and everything was dry. I’m pretty sure there is no button on the BMW app in iphone to roll down the window. Is there any remote button combination to do so which I may have accidentally pushed? I’m lucky the moonroof wasn’t open during the rain and I would like to prevent that from happening in future but I need to know how it happened first.

Happened to my wife with our 330e a few weeks back. Completely normal, or a "happy accident" if you're in to Bob Ross.

I had the 330e for over three years and never knew about that feature so I had to test it. Yes, it unlocks and rolls down all windows. I wish it was possible to disable that feature, because it can actually cause problems. Imagine your car in a car wash and you lean to something without noticing and all windows roll down, I don't have sun roof, so I don't care about that, but it would be a disaster anyway. Such "feature" is really pointless here in northern Europe anyway, at least over 99.99% of the time.

Happened to me with my Volvo the other day. I had the keys in my pocket so most likely as everyone said the button got long pressed by leaning or maybe in my case because of my 6kg cat decided to stay on my lap. i got lucky it wasnt raining that day as it took me a while to notice

This has happened repeatedly on my X5. I've had it in to the dealer several times but it keeps happening for no apparent reason. Its not just related to hitting the remote by accident.

I was hoping it wouldn't happen on my i4 but you may have dashed my hopes.

This functionality has been on bmws back to my 2007 335i and probably before that. I'm guessing cars with this ghost issue of opening without the FOB are few and far between.

It happens on my 2004 mini occasionally with my key in my pocket. It's something I coded in with INPA. I would imagine that if you really don't like the feature, the service center can turn it off for you.

In my x3 I arrived at the car 4 or 5 times and it had the trunk opened. I guess remote key fob button or other computer madness.
The i4 has an option to disable the remote control opening of the trunk under the doors and windows menu, which I disabled.

Just had something similar happened to me. I have a 22 I4. In the morning I went out and the car was unlocked, the windows were open and the trunk was open. It was definitely locked and closed the night before. I was working near the car the day before and I had the key fob in my pocket. I noticed the car kept locking and unlocking. I thought I may have been bumping the key fob, but I wasn’t. The button doesn’t appear to be stuck, but I’ve also had problems with that fob being recognized when in the car, it often tells me the key isn’t present, even though the car will start. Changing the batteries made no difference. The dealer said they can’t find anything wrong with it. I really think the issues are related to the key fob being stuck, defective or whatever.
