Okay, well I ordered mine through eBay on 7-21-2022 and at that time I called two local dealerships and gave them the part number and nothing came up, so the stop sale must have been recently lifted.

Twisting is different than bending, but I’ll ask the electrician what he thinks. I err on the side of safety. Ex: I’d rather go triple digits in a car I’m driving or fast through a curvy road than rely on the lack of maintenance performed at an amusement park.
My electrician said twisting it was fine.
I’m installing the official BMW one tomorrow, just have to add wood to the existing studs first so I have someplace to screw.

So here is my install for the flexible fast charger with the official BMW mount. The electrician installed the 14/50 Nema outlet.

I ordered mine from a seller in Germany on Ebay when the official mount wasn’t available here. Now it is. The wood screws on mine required a 5 mm hex. Is that how it comes if you also buy it at the local BMW parts department in the U.S.?
None of the local hardware stores had the necessary drill bit in stock including Grainger so drilling the wood and screwing them in by hand with a 5 mm hex wrench is what I ended up doing.

I would change the setup on how you have mounted as water can get to your charger block and it’s not good for it.

I think this the one I need, and then I can mount it next to my splitter.

2. Wall Plug Adapter is on Bottom-mounted Vertically (meaning that the wire with J1772 that goes to the car will be pointed to the ceiling)

Thanks to M3NHGRY Anthony’s for the quick shipping! I have gotten the option 2 to setup in upside down fashion and onto the stud. Very convenient to take off and stow away for trips.
yea, I have only use it in the slow 110V at this time, which’s suits my usage with Electrify America’s fast charge when I need a quick top off.

I am 3d printing BMW Flexible Charger Mount with a J1772/Cable Holder. If anyone would like one I can print the slide mount for Flexible Charger and Cable holder for $30 Shipped (48 states) with a choice of color. I can do other colors but I will have to order the filament. Printed on a Prusa MK3S+ and with high quality PETG filament. Will attach more pics this afternoon.

Note: 3D Printed Parts are not like Injection Molded Parts. The surface will show extrusion rings, artifacts, blemishes and other signs of plastic extrusion. This will occur with any 3D Printed parts using the FDM method of printing as we do. Slanted and curved vertical (Z Axis) surfaces will show more extrusions, artifacts, blemishes and signs of plastic extrusion than flatter parts. This in no way deters from the parts functionality. All parts are inspected prior to shipment.
So cool! I would love one in blue or green. I can venmo or send paypal.

I’m installing a Charge Point but these are awesome and if I were using a 240V plug option I would be picking this up for sure! Awesome work!

I'm using one to leave my FlexCharger in the garage most of the time even though I've got a ChargePoint coming. I prefer not to have the FlexCharger taking up space when I don't need it (most of my drives are withing 50% of the i4's range...

are you still making these? If so, would you do just the wall mount (top mounted, black) for me?

😳
Dudenjen, you may want to rethink this installation around those water hoses. One leak from a gasket, valve, hose, etc... and you could have trouble in that area.

Just my advise.
