iDrive keeps switching out of Android Auto

I hesitate to bring this up because it's such a minor issue, but for some reason when I first start the car and the Android Auto screen comes up (Google maps + entertainment option), once I go into the "parking and maneuvering" screen, it defaults back to the regular iDrive home screen once out of the Parking mode. Even if I physically change it to AA on startup, once I get into the Parking mode, it always goes back to iDrive. It didn't do this previously, I don't recall if it started after an update, but it seems to be a new glitch. I have AA saved as a shortcut so it's easy enough to get back to it, but it is slightly annoying. Am I the only one with this issue?

If a phone is connected with AA available, there is a little blue triangle at the bottom left of the central screen to quickly switch to it. I haven't really paid attention but I think my car does the same as yours. Just hit the icon.

My car does the exact same thing, particularly when I go into reverse and the backup camera pops up. I don't think this is normal behavior, and I also have to always switch back to AA. Anyone know of a fix in the settings anywhere?

After camera is done it should go back to AA. It's a hassle and distracting to do it manually.

Is there actually any AA app running at the time? I feel like mine goes back to AA after reversing when music is playing through AA?

I really don't care that much what screen is up, since it is a single touch to get anywhere else I want it regularly. I mean, the Map and Media button above the click wheel are RIGHT THERE.

Almost anything else, I probably shouldn't be in motion if it can't be done via voice command.

This is a known issue in 7/2023 iDrive releases, it didn't do this in prior releases. as I recall it is fixed in 11/2023.
