Yeah, the bottom right one confused me too. It's actually just a shortcut to the "Vehicle Finder" map in the app to show where your car is parked.
Excellent. I haven't actually had to use that feature (almost once!) but I am thankful its there.

I added this widget to my Mac desktop and it doesn't work if I click on the fan to precondition the car. It prompts the message "Open the app on iOS"... If this is the expected behavior of this particular widget then it's useless.
I like the other ones, though! :)

There are some really cool options throughout the different widget sizes. I use the large widget as a shortcut for preconditioning — plus I like seeing my car on my home screen!

How did you do hard reset wiping out to factory state? I really don’t want to go this route though, latest App Store update probably killed it. I’ll just won’t use it anymore.
I reset the Apple Watch by holding the crown and side button pressed until the Apple logo showed up.

My Apple Watch is completely broken just shows spinning icon nothing loads. I reinstalled iOS app same problem.
I did it a couple of times (need to be persistent) and also confirmed the remnants of the Watch OS My BMW app was actually removed upon de-installation, prior to re-installing.

The Apple Watch reset is also good practice (shutdown, turn back on, not factory reset) after the reinstall.

Something wonky going on with both the Watch App and the Desktop Widget views for this MyBMW version, poor QA, sigh.

Desktop widget on my Mac OS Sonoma never worked for me. I gave up since I didn’t use it often.

Do you still have the Watch app? After the latest update to the app (3.11.1), the watch app disappeared. I still have the complication, but it obviously doesn't do anything.

Edit: Well, never mind. Now it's back again, but no functionality. I'll try re-installing.

Edit 2, Electric Boogaloo: Reinstalled the watch app, no dice. Rebooted the watch, now it's working. Huzzah.
I too have also lost the apple watch app. Tried resetting the watch but no success...

Steps I took:
  1. Log out of the app
  2. Delete app
  3. Find and reinstall from the App Store
  4. Install/enable on your Watch if you've got auto app loading turned off
  5. Log back into My BMW
  6. Restart Apple Watch
  7. Pray it works
You might have to close out the iOS App and Logout/Login in a couple of times, but overall it's working again for me.

This is for watchOS 10.1.1 on an Ultra 2, running MyBMW 3.11.1 on iOS 17.1.1

Thanks for this, no success unfortunately. My Apple Watch is the Series 3 with 8.8.1 installed with Iphone 14 Pro/IOS 17.1.1 so I can only assume they might have stopped support for that watch model/OS?

Probably. Apple is shipping WatchOS 10, and the 3 supports only up to 8.

Well the most important thing I learned here was that I am glad I don't have an Apple watch...!
Do we now need to have folks list if they are Team Apple or Team Android in their signature lines??

I too had the spinning wheel on the watch app, but what fixed it for me was unpairing and re-pairing the watch to the iPhone, followed by rebooting the watch.
