Hi,

I recently tinted my windows 20s and its been a couple weeks but I still noticed when I drive at night time there is a light distortion from headlights from the defroster line on my rear windows. Dopes anyone else have experience similar problems? See below my tinted windows

See picture of the tint reflecting off defroster line similar to this (not my car)

Which type of tint have you used? Manufacturer and model? This isn't normal. Tint should not be visible like this, it seems to me like an installation problem. Even bad quality tint doesn't have this issue initially if it was installed properly.

If it's either 3M or XPEL tint you can take it at another authorized shop and they'll likely fix it for free.

I don't necessarily agree with this. I have Xpel XR Prime+, installed by a very good shop, and notice this as well. It looks just like the picture the OP posted. I don't know if it's the the tint causing it or just the angle of the rear defroster lines. There's also the auto-dimming rear view mirror at play. I have a feeling this is the kind of thing some people notice and others don't.
