Hi, in the Dutch Brochure there is the mentioning of a new color: Frozen Pure Grey (per 3/2022). Anyone seen that one already live (or on another BMW?).

Could be nice. Grey is always nice. But I'll have to see it on a car in open space, not too sunny, not too cloudy...

But BMW should be focussing now on inventing new colors. They have to continue assembling our cars, damned. The engineers from the drawing tables should now be working in the factory, making extra shifts to reduce the waiting time... That's what I think!!!

This might be the only advantage of getting pushed to MY2023. I think this color is going to be the same price as frozen portimao blue. I saw this color on a car at my dealership and loved it. Still worried about maintenance, but dayuuuum it's nice.

Car explodes. Matte shrapnel everywhere. Actually, most of those are trying to make your car shiny, so it does that, and that's real bad when it's supposed to be matte. You need to use special soap and stuff that will preserve the sheen, so you really have to hand wash from what I've read. I can deal with that. Still debating if I want to.

I requested a quote from a detailer for front end Xpel stealth and ceramic coating on the whole car for matte, versus the same treatment for a standard finish. See if that costs more than what I was going to do anyway. If it's the same money, then all I have to worry about is the additional cost from BMW. That and the fact that my wife said "it looks like they forgot to paint it" when I showed her a video of a car in Pure Frozen Grey II :ROFLMAO:
