My company has put me into their car lease scheme and I have luckily been offered a 2023 i4 e40 that is available due to the current driver retiring.
I've had a really good look but can't quite understand the best way to manage the handover (which is in a couple of weeks) of the my BMW app.
I can see two options:
1. Register myself on the car as a second user, get the current driver to make me 'primary / master' user then remove him from the car, or
2. Do a full reset of all settings and configurations via the car menu then start fresh with my BMW account by registering VIN etc.
From what I understand option 2 will completely remove him from the car and the car from his app? and does seem like the cleanest way to sort it all out.
Never had an EV or a BMW so all a bit new to me
