My 2024 M50 was delivered last week, and I'm so happy I made the move from my Mustang Mach E GT. Don't get me wrong, the Mach E is a very nice SUV, but it's most definitely not a BMW. I much prefer sedans/station wagons to SUVs, and while the Mach was a great first EV, I'm so happy to be back into a BMW sedan. I've owned several BMWs over the years, including a couple of 3 series convertibles, a 5 series wagon, and a 2008 M3 four door. All had manual gearboxes, including the wagon. I haven't had the chance to take it out on a road trip yet, but I'm taking it to Paso Robles next week, which is about 3 hours away and will include some freeway and twisty 2 lane driving. My options include carbon fiber interior trim, black leather with blue stitching, laserlight headlights, and all of the available packages.

Gorgeous car! I think you are going to love your Paso Robles drive. If you have time, share with us how the trip goes when you get back. Pics too! We love pics around here. 😎

Lovely colour (color), but I’m biased. In addition to the legislative side markers, I see the subtle USA/UK differences of the S4GQA M Seat Belts with M-specific stripes and the front wing (fender) M badges. But I’d happily forgo those and tick the laser light option you have, that I left off 😭.

Wow, I can’t believe I hadn’t noticed that non NA cars don’t have those orange side markers! Do you guys have body colored pieces there or does the bumper just not have a hole in that area? It’s hard to tell in pics. I’m really glad I got the IND body colored reflectors.

Beautiful car, OP. Congrats! Portimao Blue is such a great color; it has really grown on me

Great choices! And more pics to remind us that Portimao is the best standard i4 color, and if you don’t agree, well you’re just wrong.
